Recently, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap expressed an outcry of his frustration for people who believe themselves to be creative corpses in a post on Instagram. Posted in a thread, he said he will henceforth put a charge on meeting new people, as he had in the past wasted time over meh encounters. "I am not going to waste my time speaking with all these random people who think they are the big creative geniuses," Kashyap replied. "1 for 10-15 minutes, 2 for half an hour, 5 for the full hour—all in advance.
He wrote, "Don't text, DM, or call me. Pay, and you will get time. "I am not a charity." His daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, expressed the same emotion, saying now she will send this to script senders. Shahana Goswami and Kubbra Sait echoed support and humor in their comments.
Recently, Kashyap revealed his Malayalam film debut as an actor in Aashiq Abu's "Rifle Club," co-written by Sharfu-Suhas, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Syam Pushkaran. The ensemble cast includes Dileesh Pothan, Vani Viswanath, Vijayaraghavan, and others. "Rifle Club" is slated for an Onam 2024 release. Additionally, his directorial venture "Kennedy" is also in line for release.
