In the trailer for ‘Ante Sundaraniki’, Nani’s titular character delivers a burst of fake evil laughter as if to scare those who think he is innocent. Nazriya Fahadh is Leela, who is his girlfriend with dreams related to her photography career. Something related to their childhood haunts them in a funny turn of events in the present. Their decision befuddles everyone around!
Nani’s Sundar is suppressed by his parents’ orthodox outlook. “As if my mother, father and grandma are not bad enough, I have got one more headache in life,” he cribs, introducing Leela. The naughty girlfriend’s character has been designed by director Vivek Athreya to reflect the thinking of today’s youngsters.
Nadhiya, who is seen as the heroine’s mother, has her own baggage to deal with, as the presence of a lawyer shows. Naresh and Rohini are as important as the heroine’s parent in the story, it seems.
Also featuring Rahul Ramakrishna, Suhas and Harshavardhan, the film has music by Vivek Sagar. Niketh Bommi’s cinematography and editing by Raviteja Girijala are impressive. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Y of Mythri Movie Makers, ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ hits the screens on June 10.
