Anna Konidela, wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, visited the Tirumala temple to express her gratitude following the recovery of her son, Mark Shankar. Despite being from Italy and of a different faith, Anna respectfully followed the customs and traditions observed at the sacred shrine.
Her son was recently involved in a serious fire accident in Singapore, which left the family deeply worried. After his safe recovery and return home, Anna visited Lord Venkateswara’s temple to offer thanks.
Before proceeding to Tirumala, she signed a declaration in Tirupati affirming her faith in Lord Venkateswara and seeking His blessings. Once at the temple, she made a symbolic hair offering — a traditional gesture of devotion and gratitude.
Arriving early in the morning, Anna entered the temple through the Vaikuntham Q Complex and participated in the Suprabhata Seva, the ceremony marking the deity’s early morning awakening.
After darshan, she was honored at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, where Vedic scholars blessed her with Veda Ashirvachanam and presented her with prasadam.
