Ankith Koyya: My role in Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam has Allu family connection

Ankith Koyya, the rising star of Telugu cinema, didn’t follow the script his family wrote for him. Instead, he wrote his own, one filled with passion, determination, and a dash of unexpected luck. A son of academics, Ankith Koyya’s journey began in the world of textbooks and exams. But a fire for acting ignited during his college days, leading him to a path far removed from the traditional career trajectories of his kin.

A chance encounter with Allu Arjun proved to be a pivotal turning point. Anikth Koyya’s charisma and talent shone through in the audition, earning him a coveted role in an OLX advertisement. The ad, a catchy and memorable affair, brought him widespread recognition and introduced him to the world of Telugu cinema. While his family initially harbored concerns about his career choice, Koyya’s unwavering determination and subsequent successes gradually won them over.

Roles in films like Majili, Johar, and Aswaththama solidified his presence in the industry, earning him critical acclaim and a loyal fanbase. However, Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam promises to be a defining moment for this rising star. His character, a quirky and self-assured individual with a deep connection to the Allu family, is poised to capture the hearts of audiences. He says “I play a unique character with a quirky attitude, believing, “I wasn’t born into this house; I’m Allu Aravind’s son and Allu Arjun’s brother.” This mindset adds a lot of humor to the film.”

Ankith Koyya’s ability to bring humor and heart to his roles, combined with his willingness to take on diverse characters, makes him a captivating presence on screen. The film’s association with the influential Allu family and the support of the production house have undoubtedly generated significant buzz, making Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam a film to watch.  About Allu Aravind’s reaction,he shared “Yes, I recently met Allu Aravind garu. He joked, saying, “I heard you’re playing my son; what’s that about?” It was all in good humor. I feel a strong connection with the Allu family, starting with my OLX ad with Allu Arjun garu and now Aay under Allu Aravind garu’s presentation.”

Apart from Ankith Koyya, Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam, featuring Rao Ramesh in the lead, is directed by Lakshman Karya is set for release on the 23rd of this month. Produced by Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya under the banners PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Cienmatics, the film is presented by Tabitha Sukumar, marking her debut as a presenter. Mythri Movie Makers are handling the Telugu release.

Ankith Koyya’s journey exemplifies the adage that success is not always linear. His journey from academia to the glittering world of cinema is a testament to his resilience, adaptability, and unwavering passion for the craft. With his inherent talent, coupled with the right opportunities, the future appears exceptionally bright for this rising star.
