Anirudh clarifies appearance on porn video

Following the release of Rajinikanth’s Petta, Anirudh has been critically acclaimed for his background score for the movie. While he is still riding high on the success of the film, he has been crowned ‘Chennai’s Most Desirable Man 2018’ based on a poll conducted by Chennai Times.

In a candid interview to the leading magazine regarding the title, the music director opened up about his rumoured appearance in a porn video that was being circulated across social media a few years ago. Although clarifications have been made in the past, Anirudh claimed yet again that it was not him in the video, adding that the featured guy looked nothing like him. “I was abroad for a concert, and when I heard it, I was surprised and looked up that video. It was some Chinese video. That was the craziest thing that’s happened to me. Somebody told me it was a leaked video, and I was like, ‘What video?’ So, I want to reiterate — that wasn’t me; that guy didn’t even look like me!” he said.

Anirudh is currently working on the soundtrack composition for Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2.
