Producer Rajesh Ventures into Acting with Debut in ‘Angikaram’

Producer Rajesh, who previously backed films like Aram, Dora, and Hero under KJR Studios, is now debuting as a lead actor. His new film has been titled Angikaaram, and the first look poster has been officially released.

Due to financial challenges, Rajesh had stepped away from film production. However, after undergoing a complete physical transformation, he has returned to the industry—this time stepping in front of the camera as the protagonist.

Angikaaram is inspired by real-life incidents and revolves around the world of athletics. The film highlights the struggles athletes face and the systemic issues in the sports industry. The makers aim to shed light on the dedication and hardships of sports personalities.

The film stars Sindhuri Viswanath, Viji Venkatesh, Anthony, Rangaraj Pandey, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Mohanram alongside Rajesh. Music is composed by Ghibran, cinematography is by Viswanath, and action choreography is handled by Peter Hein.

Angikaaram is produced by Prashanth, Ajith Bhaskar, and Arunmurugan under the banner of Swastik Visions. The film is in its final stage of shooting, with a release date to be announced soon.
