Thalapathy Vijay's new movie 'Sarkar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures has come as a grand birthday treat for his fans who are rejoicing by setting social media ablaze with their celebrations. Vijay looks dashing in his attire ready to light up a cigarette and even celebrities are going gaga over it.
However there is also negative feedback on the 'Sarkar' first look and the first comes from PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss. He has fired two salvos on twitter "Shame on Actor Vijay for promoting Smoking in this first look of his next movie." and "You’ll look more stylish without that cigarette.
Anbumani Ramadoss has also posted an image of a newspaper cutting in which Vijay had announced that he will not smoke or drink on screen accepting the request by the leader. The cutting is at the time when 'Azhagiya Tamizh Magan' released and the mass hero had explained that he smoked on screen to differentiate the dual roles he did in the film. We will have to wait and see the reaction of the Thalapathy to the criticism of the politician.
