Anasuya, Divi roped in for Chiranjeevi’s films

Anasuya Bharadwaj has been on a roll ever since ‘Rangasthalam’ hit the screens. She is already playing a character in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’, for which the ‘Kshanam’ actor has completed her portions.

Latest, the popular TV anchor has been roped in for ‘GodFather’, the Chiranjeevi movie. Getting the opportunity to be a part of a Megastar movie after acting in the movies of two other Mega heroes (read Ram Charan and Bunny) is not a small thing. The anchor confirmed her presence in ‘GodFather’, which is directed by Mohan Raja, in her Twitter Spaces interaction on Megastar’s birthday.

As for Divi Vadthya, who participated in the fourth season of Bigg Boss Telugu 4, she has a role in ‘Bholaa Shankar’. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the film has Chiranjeevi as the lead man, while ‘Mahanati’ sensation Keerthy Suresh is playing the legendary actor’s sister.

Divi received the offer in the grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu 4 in December last. “The other day, I was in a discussion with my director, Meher Ramesh. I told him Divi might be apt for a role in our movie,” Chiru said to her surprise. Chiru hinted that Divi would be cast in the role of a powerful cop in the big-ticket entertainer. And her role won’t be limited to the uniformed character, the ‘Acharya’ actor further hinted.
