Amitabh Bachchan who has rose to the heights of becoming Shahenshah of Bollywood is celebrating his 48 years of being married to Jaya Bachchan today and he shared some of his wedding pictures on this happy occasion.
He shared a collage on Instagram and in one of the images, he is seen applying sindoor to her forehead. “June 3 , 1973 .. thank you all for your greetings on our Anniversary,” he captioned the post.
Amitabh and Jaya featured together in films such as Silsila, Abhiman, Mili and Sholay the chemistry between them worked out in real life and they tied knot in the year 1973. The couple has two children and are also blessed with grandkids.
His last film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ was a direct OTT release and gained positive acclamation from the audience and he also received Filmfare award for the same. He is currently working in many films which are yet to be released.
