On Monday, Amazon Inc. started Amazon Air in Hyderabad. It is the first such campus belonging to Amazon outside US and Europe. Amazon Air is located at GMR Aero Technic.
Prime Air is described as Amazon's dedicated air cargo network in India. "A Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be operated to enable faster deliveries to customers in not just this city but also in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru," the company said.
Tweeting about the same, KTR said that Amazon’s love story with Hyderabad continues to grow. The Minister reminded that Hyderabad is already home to Amazon’s world’s largest campus. "AWS Data Centre investment of 4.4 Billion USD (Rs 36,600 Crore). There is already the largest Fulfilment Centre in Asia in the city.
KTR said that the investment only goes to burnish Hyderabad's credentials as a top investment destination.
