The film that caught everyone's attention in 2017 is 'Meyaadha Maan' heartwarming tale of a low class boy wooing his high class lady love told in a hilarious fashion. The film produced by Karthik Subbaraj was directed by newcomer Rathnakumar.

Rathnakumar has finished his next script and is ready to film it with Amala Paul playing the main lead. The project has been interestingly titled 'Aadai' and the director has assured that its not the horror or women empowerment stories that usually get made with a heroine as the central character.

Amala Paul meanwhile tore a ligment on her arm while performing a risky action sequence for her under production film 'Adho Antha Paravai Pola' which also revolves around her character. She is recuperating in Kerala and will soon be back with a bang.
