Amala Akkineni plays Sharwanand’s mother

It’s known that Sharwanand will be doing a film with debutant Shree Karthik. The film’s new schedule started on Friday in Hyderabad.  The film’s subject revolves around the themes of friendship and love. 

The news is that former actress Amala Akkineni is playing the hero’s mother in this entertainer.  It’s one of the very rare movies she has accepted.  

“Amala is selectively signing up films these days based on the scripts and roles. She liked the character that she offered and so she accepted to be part of it,” a source says.

The film also has young music director Anirudh’s father and actor Ravi Raghavendra as Amala’s husband.

If Ritu Varma of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ fame is the female lead, Nassar, Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi have other key roles.  Dialogues are by director Tharun Bhascker.  Music is by Jakes Bejoy and cinematography is by Sujith Sarang of ‘Taxiwaala’ fame.  Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, this one is a Summer 2020 release.
