Allu Arjun Joins Hands with Malayalam Director Basil Joseph for a Pan-India Action-Thriller

Tollywood icon Allu Arjun, riding high on the massive success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, is set to surprise fans with an exciting new collaboration. The stylish star is teaming up with celebrated Malayalam filmmaker Basil Joseph for a high-octane action-thriller, creating buzz across the Indian film industry.

The upcoming project, reportedly backed by Geetha Arts, is being referred to as AA23 and marks Allu Arjun’s 23rd film. This venture is being touted as a true pan-India spectacle, combining Basil Joseph’s distinct storytelling with Arjun’s electrifying screen presence.

Basil Joseph, best known for his superhero hit Minnal Murali (2021), recently pitched a gripping and innovative action narrative to Allu Arjun. Sources reveal that the actor was thoroughly impressed with the concept and has given the green signal to move ahead.

Adding to the excitement, popular composer Jakes Bejoy is in talks to score the film’s music, potentially adding another layer of energy to this already promising project.

This unexpected pairing comes after reports that Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated mythological film with director Trivikram Srinivas has been shelved. Interestingly, Jr. NTR is now being considered for that role, clearing the path for Arjun to take on this bold new cinematic journey with Basil Joseph.

The project also marks Allu Arjun’s first collaboration with a Malayalam director — a move that has thrilled fans in Kerala, where Joseph commands a loyal following. The cross-industry collaboration is expected to expand Allu Arjun’s reach further into South India and beyond.

While an official announcement is yet to be made, the industry is already abuzz with speculation and excitement. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is also gearing up for another major project with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22xA6, which is slated to begin filming soon.

With multiple high-profile films on the horizon, Allu Arjun continues to cement his position as a true pan-Indian superstar.
