Allu Arjun embarks on a long ‘Pushpa’ schedule

After a gap of months, Allu Arjun is back to work. The Icon Star today resumed the shoot of ‘Pushpa’ in Secunderabad, a schedule for which the preparation had been done for weeks. 

Director Sukumar and his team have planned to wrap up the shoot of the pan-India flick by mid-August. “This is going to be a 45-day schedule. The who’s who associated with the crazy masala action drama will participate in it,” a source says.

Mythri Movie Makers was planning to release the film on August 13. Needless to say, it had to be postponed indefinitely due to the second wave of the pandemic. 

To be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, the film has Fahadh Faasil as the villain. Prakash Raj, Jalapathi Babu, Sunil and Dayanand have pivotal roles. There are rumours that Sunil has got a negative role in the movie. 

‘Pushpa’, starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Its second edition will be shot in 2022 after Bunny completes ‘ICON’, which is a Venu Sriram directorial.
