Allu Arjun calls on Puneeth Rajkumar’s family

Allu Arjun today travelled to Bengaluru to call on Shiva Rajkumar, the Kannada superstar, whose family was bereaved last year with the passing away of Puneeth Rajkumar. Puneeth, who breathed his last on 29 October 2021, was a highly reputed Sandalwood actor. Bunny couldn’t travel to Bengaluru to console the bereaved family at that time because ‘Pushpa’ kept him busy. He didn’t do it in November when he was in Bengaluru to promote ‘Pushpa’, as he didn’t want critics to perceive it as an insincere gesture meant to get publicity for his movie.

The Icon Star finally travelled today and consoled Shiva Rajkumar. A pic of the ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ actor with Puneeth’s brother has surfaced on the Internet.

Last year, at an event, this is what the ‘Race Gurram’ actor said about Puneeth. “We had mutual respect for each other. Suddenly he is not there. The news of his passing away is shocking,” Bunny said.

Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh and a few other Telugu actors attended the last rites of Puneeth.
