'Shaakunthalam', the mythological drama, is being directed by Gunasekhar. Starring Samantha Akkineni as the lead protagonist, the film has been shot at a private studio in Hyderabad.

The news is that, on Tuesday, Allu Arha joined the unit to play her part in the ambitious movie. Arha is seen getting her make-up done in the vanity van owned by her superstar-dad, Allu Arjun. It's reported that Arha came to the sets fully prepared.

Gunasekhar, who takes his films to sets only after the bound script is ready, had given Arha her lines beforehand. She recently attended video classes to learn Sanskrit hymns.

Also starring Dev Mohan and Aditi Balan, 'Shaakunthalam' has music by Mani Sharma.

When the news about Arha's big-screen entry was out on July 15, Bunny wrote, "A proud moment for the Allu family to announce that the fourth generation, #AlluArha will be making her debut with #Shakuntalam movie. I want to thank Gunasekhar garu and Neelima Guna garu for giving my daughter this beautiful movie as her debut."
