AVPL marks Trivikrams peak stardom

There are quite a few star directors, whose stock has gone up in recent years.  SS Rajamouli obviously comes to mind in a jiffy.  Sukumar's fame went up northwards with 'Rangasthalam' (2018).  And now, it's the turn of Trivikram Srinivas, who is easily in top form.

After 'Aravindha Sametha', he has delivered a back-to-back hit with 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'.  Released on January 12, this family entertainer is now billed to become the biggest hit in Allu Arjun's career.

The director deserves all the limelight he is hogging. Seen by millions of Telugus as a giant in dialogue-writing, Trivikram has come to acquire the sobriquet of 'Guruji'.  With 'AVPL', he has shown not just remarkable sensibility but also style.  The refreshing fights, the pithy lines, the characterizations in the movie prove that Trivikram is constantly maturing, unlike most directors who show signs of creative stagnation after a point.

Trivikram has also learned to tell things in a crisp manner starting from 'A Aa'.  'Agnyaathavaasi' was a strange exception, as nothing really went right in it.  The last 40 minutes of NTR's 'Aravindha' also proved Trivikram's mettle.  With the latest film, the 'Matala Mantrikudu' has become a class apart.
