Akshay Kumar to be cast as villain in Indian 2?

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who was last seen in Shankar’s 2.0, might collaborate with the director once again for the sequel of the 1996 super-hit movie Indian. Speculations have been rife that the 2.0 antagonist will play a villain yet again in the Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2.

Director Shankar had originally approached actor Ajay Devgan for the part, who turned it down citing schedule constraints. A source has reportedly said that Akshay Kumar may have come on board as Shankar had earlier announced that the duo would team up again when an appropriate project came up.

The first look poster of Indian 2 was released on the occasion of Pongal by Shankar, while the second look poster has been put up a few minutes ago. The movie also stars Kajal Aggarwal in the lead, while Anirudh has been roped in to compose the soundtrack.
