Ajith rescues Aamir Khan from Cyclone Michaung

Cyclone Michaung unleashed havoc upon Chennai and the southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, leaving many stranded amidst the deluge of floodwaters. Not even celebrities were spared, as Bollywood luminary Aamir Khan and South Indian actor Vishnu Vishal found themselves caught in the tumultuous floods.

In a heartening turn of events, Kollywood star Ajith Kumar emerged as a beacon of support for his fellow artists. On December 5, Ajith Kumar personally visited Aamir Khan and Vishnu Vishal after their rescue from the waterlogged Karapakkam in Chennai. Understanding the dire situation, Ajith Kumar swiftly organized travel arrangements for the two actors and the members of the villa community who had endured several harrowing hours stranded in the floodwaters. The rescue operation, carried out by the fire and rescue department using boats, was a testament to the community’s resilience in the face of adversity.

Upon learning of their plight, Ajith Kumar’s proactive response went beyond a mere rescue operation. His compassionate gesture extended to ensuring safe passage for Aamir Khan, Vishnu Vishal, and the entire beleaguered community.

Expressing his gratitude, Vishnu Vishal took to social media, sharing a photo with Aamir Khan and Ajith Kumar, and wrote, “After getting to know our situation through a common friend, The ever-helpful Ajith Sir came to check on us and helped with travel arrangements for our villa community members…Love you Ajith Sir! (sic).”

Aamir Khan, who had recently relocated to Chennai to care for his ailing mother, found himself unexpectedly caught in the floodwaters. The actor’s predicament, along with Vishnu Vishal’s, unfolded in their shared villa community in Karapakkam, underscoring the indiscriminate impact of the natural disaster.
