On Sunday, it was reported that the shooting of Ajith starrer ‘Thunivu’ was moved to Chennai. Director H Vinoth returned to India after finishing the Bangkok schedule last week and was spotted directing patchwork in Anna Saalai. The BTS pictures from the sets were leaked online.
In the BTS images, a man with a white mask was shooting for the film. While some reports claimed that the masked man in the leaked photos was Ajith Kumar, it is now confirmed that it was a body double of the actor. Ajith Kumar boarded his return flight to India only on Monday (October 17) and his photos and videos from the airport have gone viral.
According to sources, director H Vinoth used look-alikes of Ajith and Manju Warrier for the shoot. Thunivu also stars Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, Ajay, Mahanadhi Shankar, GM Sundar, Cibi Chandran, Amir and Pavni. Nirav Shah cranked the camera with music by Ghibran and stunts by Supreme Sundar. The team is aiming for a Pongal 2023 release.
