Venkat Prabhu reveals: “When I started working on ‘GOAT’, Ajith sir encouraged me !

Ace director Venkat Prabhu, currently helming Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated film ‘GOAT,’ recently shared some intriguing insights in an interview with a popular magazine. This project marks Venkat’s biggest project since his successful collaboration with Ajith Kumar on ‘Mankatha.’ During the interview, he recounted how Ajith reacted when he learned about the director’s opportunity to work with Vijay.

Venkat Prabhu revealed, “I had the chance to meet Ajith sir while he was in the hospital. During that visit, Thalapathy Vijay called me and asked if I could hand the phone to Ajith sir. The two of them had a lengthy conversation, and I could feel a lot of positivity between them. When I started working on ‘GOAT’, Ajith sir encouraged me, saying that this film should surpass ‘Mankatha’ by a hundred times.”

He added, “I believe I’ve put in the effort to meet his expectations, and now the final outcome is in the hands of the audience.” As anticipation builds for ‘GOAT,’ which is set to hit cinemas on September 5th, the team is expected to announce the trailer’s release date today at 6 PM. The film, a sci-fi action saga, will feature Vijay in three distinct looks, including a de-aging transformation.
