Ajith Kumar is currently gearing up for his 62nd film, bankrolled by Lyca Productions, following the success of Thunivu. Initially, Vignesh Shivan was announced as the film's director but sources reveal that critically acclaimed maker Magizh Thirumeni will be donning the director hat in AK62.

Now, the latest reports suggest that the music director of AK62 is to be replaced. Earlier, Anirudh Ravichander was roped in to score for music for the film in Vignesh Shivan's direction but now, it is being said that Arun Raj will be scoring music for Ajith for the first time. It is worth mentioning that Arun Raj has already worked with Magizh Thirumeni in 'Thadam'.

Ajith's film with Magizh Thirumeni will be made on a huge budget of Rs 220 crores and the team is aiming for a Diwali 2023 release. Magizh Thirumeni is roped in for a whopping remuneration in AK62. On the personal front, reports state that AK will take a hiatus from acting to complete his world bike tour.
