Aishwarya Rajinikanth makes an important official announcement about ‘Lal Salaam’!

Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya is a well-known filmmaker who has earlier directed Dhanush starrer ‘3’ and Gautham Karthik starrer ‘Vai Raja Vai’. She is now working on her third feature film ‘Lal Salaam’ and she made an important announcement regarding the movie today on social media.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth shared a picture of herself from Thiruvannamalai and announced that she has wrapped up the shooting of Lal Salaam entirely. The post-production work for the biggie has officially begun. The upcoming film is a cricket-based sports drama starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth with her father Rajinikanth in an extended cameo role.

Sharing the news, Aishwarya penned, “9 kilos heavier … 8 shades darker… 7 months later… 6 pm picture… 5 times wiser and bolder… 4 months of team work together… 3 call sheets back to back last day with twenty two hours non stop shoot until dawn and wrap up over ! 2 my #lalsalaam family I thank you ?? for all the hard work …lastly 1 thing ..cannot be just coincidence..shoot began here and has concluded here with your blessings #annamalaiyaar re! #thiruvannamalai #thankful #grateful #blessed Off to the next stage…” (sic). Her post is now doing rounds on the internet.

Produced by Lyca Productions, Lal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Rajinikanth, Jeevitha Rajasekhar, Kapil Dev, Nirosha, Senthil, Thambi Ramaiah and many others in key roles. The technical crew has AR Rahman as the music composer, Vishnu Ramasamy as the DOP and Pravin Baaskar as the editor. The movie will hit the silver screens worldwide very soon.
