In a shocking incident, a girl who didn't like a marriage alliance resorted to slitting the throat of her fiance in order to avoid the marriage. The incident happened in Kommalapudi in Ravikamatam mandal of the Anakapalle district in Andhra Pradesh.
As per BBC Telugu, the victim Ramu Naidu works as a scientist at CSIR in Hyderabad. His wedding with the alleged perpetrator was supposed to be held on May 26. He and the bride-to-be have been talking over the phone. When the girl recently asked him to come over to her village for a surprise gift, the unsuspecting Ramu Naidu travelled all the way to her place. The duo went to a hill where a small temple is located. The girl asked the man to close his eyes. Before he opened his eyes, she allegedly slit his throat.
The victim started bleeding thoroughly. The girl stood by his side as he struggled not to collapse. Since nobody was there to help him out, the victim took the pains to call for an Ambulance by dialing 108.
