Dance choreographer turned actress Vasanthi, recently became an overnight sensation with her kickass performance as Agent Tina in the pan Indian blockbuster movie ‘Vikram’. Lokesh Kanagaraj had given her character as much importance as the main leads Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil which paid off.

Vasanthi is now all set to make the same kind of impact in Malayalam cinema and she is sharing screen space with none other than Megastar Mammootty himself. Her photo with the legend on the sets has gone viral now.

Vasanthi's new untitled thriller movie is directed by B Unnikrishnan and she reportedly has a meaty role. Mammootty will be essaying the role of a police officer while Sneha, Amala Paul and Aiswarya Lekshmi have been roped in as the female leads. Vinay Rai, Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothen, Sidhique and Jinu Abraham will be appearing in significant roles. The movie's shoot is progressing at a brisk pace in exotic locations in Kerala.
