'Sye Raa' actress Tamannaah Bhatia has donated a sum of Rs 3 lakh to Tollywood's Corona Crisis Charity (CCC). The amount will be spent on the welfare of cine workers. The fund has pooled in more than Rs 8 Cr.

This is not the only noble donation that the senior actress has made. She has spent lakhs on feeding 10,000 needy people in Mumbai through an NGO. At least 50 tonnes of food has been distributed to slum-dwellers and migrant workers in the city, which is one of the worst-affected by COVID-19 in the country, over the past few days.

On the work front, 'Seetimaar', the mass-masala sports drama starring Gopichand in the lead, is the talented damsel's next Telugu outing. Director Sampath Nandi has cast her in the role of a Kabaddi coach in the movie. In keeping with the demands of the role, Tamannaah has been working out without fail in lockdown.
