Aditi Shankar starts shooting for her second film! – Viral BTS pic

Aditi is the daughter of successful Pan-Indian director Shankar. She recently made her debut as an actress and playback singer in Karthi starrer ‘Viruman’ directed by Muthaiah. We already brought to you that Aditi has signed to play the female lead in Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Maaveeran’.

Now, the latest news is that Aditi Shankar started shooting for the upcoming film yesterday. Taking to her Instagram story, the actress shared a photo of herself prepping for the shoot and wrote, “#maaveeran DAY-1” (sic). ‘Maaveeran’ is directed by Madonne Ashwin of ‘Mandela’ fame and produced by Shanthi Talkies. The movie also stars Yogi Babu.

The film is set in and around Chennai and so, the looks of these characters will be in alignment with that. Sources say that the popular YouTuber Monisha Blessy is playing Sivakarthikeyan’s younger sister in ‘Maaveeran’. Ace director Mysskin is playing the antagonist while veteran actress Saritha is playing SK’s mother in the movie.

Bharath Sankar scores the music for ‘Maaveeran’, Vidhu Ayyanna handles the cinematography and Philomin Raj does the editing. On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan has ‘Prince’ directed by Anudeep slated for a theatrical release on Diwali 2022. The actor also has ‘SK21’ directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International.
