Adipurush, the highly-anticipated mythological drama starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as the lead pair has hit the screens on June 16th. Co-starring Sunny Singh, Saif Ali Khan and Devdatta Nagesh in prominent roles the film has opened to mixed reports.
Despite not so encouraging word of mouth, the film cashing in on Prabhas’ pan-India stardom managed to collect Rs 400 crore worldwide gross in ten days.
Meanwhile, since yesterday news has been circulating on social media that there are chances for a sequel to the mythological drama but refuting rumors Prabhas has clearly said that there is no chance for Adipurush part 2 when he was forced by Om Raut and his team forces him for Adipurush 2.
Adipurush is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, Pramod and Vamsi of UV Creations. People Media Factory banner distributed the film for the entire twin Telugu states.
The film’s Pre-release business is done for a whopping of Rs 240 crore and should have to Rs 500 crore worldwide gross to be a safe bet for the buyers. Have wait and see how far will the film recovers by the end of its full run.
