Vanitha Vijayakumar reveals why she converted to another religion

Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar who was out of the limelight for a long period of time made a comeback to the entertainment arena as a contestant of ‘Bigg Boss 3’ hosted by Kamal Haasan.  There is no looking back for her after that as she has been a part of several television shows including ‘Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru’, ‘Cook With Comali’ and others’.

Meanwhile Vanitha has posted on Instagram a message that has taken her fans by surprise.  She wrote alongside photos of herself in the passenger seat of a car “I chose Buddhism for a happier peaceful life many years ago…ever since no looking back”

The 40 year old actress has apparently visited the world famous Wat Chalong temple in Phuket, Thailand.   The post has now gone viral with some of her followers commenting that when she got married to Peter Paul in 2020 she opted for a Christian wedding and wore their costume.

On the movie front Vanitha is on a roll with several projects under her belt including Prashanth’s ‘Andhagan’, ‘Sivappu Manithargal’, ‘Vasuvin Karppinigal’, Vasantha Balan’s ‘Aneethi’, ‘Kodooran’, ‘Kaathu’, ‘Kenny’, ‘Dhil Irundha Poradu’  and ‘Pickup Drop’.
