Actress talks about TV head’s misbehaviour

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the Kollywood actress, has said that the programming head of a TV channel recently misbehaved with her.  She was talking about the incident in the context of the way women are increasingly coming to face threat to their safety.

"After the meeting was over, he said to me, 'So.. When can we meet outside?'  to which I replied 'Regarding some work?'  His answer (he said with a smug smile as if it was the norm) was 'No.. No.. not work.. For other things'.  Hiding my shock and anger, I told him, 'Sorry, please leave.'  He smiled and walked away," Varu posted on Twitter.

Bhavana's molestation has shocked the industry folks.  This is the reason they are coming out in the open to talk about the commonplace safety issues that women face in our society.
