‘Bigg Boss 5’ Suruthi’s photo as black goddess Lakshmi goes viral

Suruthi Periyasamy a little known name is now making headlines due to the model’s pariticipation in the ‘Bigg Boss 5’ show hosted by Kamal Haasan.  Fans of the show are now frantically searching details about her and photos from her modelling days are now going viral on the internet.

One such pic that has particularly gained prominence is Suruthi dresssed as the goddess Lakshmi for a photoshoot themed “Dark in Divine”.  On Wednesday the Suruthi narrated the sad story of how she faced suffering at the hands of her father who used to lock her up and also throw her food away.  She said that her mother was eighteen and her father fifty when they married and that she never bonded with him and was in fact happy when he passed away when she was fifteen.

Fans moved by Suruthi’s past life have given her dark goddess Lakshmi photo a big thumbs up and it has been shared widely on all social media platforms.  The sentiment is that the Lakshmi photos that feature on calendars every year are always fair skinned but the dark version that the 26 year old model has depicted is very novel and attractive.
