Shruti Haasan’s first stage performance as a little girl amazing video goes viral

Shruti Haasan the eldest daughter of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has forged her own way in the entertainment industry.  She has balanced her careers as a singer and actress and is currently one of the top most leading ladies in South Indian cinema.

Shruti has shared a special video in which she is seen as a very little girl performing on her very first stage in Singapore.  Kamal is seen encouraging her and the most interesting is when Shruti tells her legendary father that she is not scared to perform and whether he is.  To top it all the little bundle of talent asks the audience to applaud her if her singing is good and also if it is not.

Shruti wrote alongside the video “Such a beautiful memory my first ever stage performance singing … with this little introduction dad mum and I rehearsed ! This was the moment I felt the power of applause and what it would mean to me for the rest of my life – thankful to my parents for bringing me into this world and always making art a part of my life and the special crowd in Singapore that was my first ever audience.”

The stunner did not forget her fans and added “A special Thank you to @shrutihaasan_fanzzone for finding this rare video and bringing it to me – you made my day ps – now I know I can sing even without my front teeth”

Shruti Haasan is currently playing the lead heroine opposite Prabhas in one of India’s most awaited film ‘Salaar’ directed by Prashanth Neel.  She also has films opposite megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Bala Krishna.  Her next in Tamil is set to be directed by Deekay of ‘Yamirukka Bayame’ and ‘Kavali Vendaam’ fame.
