80s hero and heroine’s daughter debuts in Tamil movie based on Bigg Boss

Star kids making their foray in Tamil cinema is nothing new and many have gone on to gain fame on their own merit.  In the current generation Suriya, Karthi, Simbu, Vikram Prabhu, Gautham Karthik, Keerthy Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Atharvaa Murali are some of the most prominent star kids.

Now veteran star couple Dr. Rajasekhar and Jeevitha’s youngest daughter Shivathmika Rajasekhar is setting foot in Kollywood in a new movie directed by Nandha Periyasamy.  Dr. Rajasekhar a Tamilian by birth debuted in Bharathiraja’s ‘Pudhumai Penn’ but he found stardom in Telugu cinema with ‘Ithuthaanda Police’ and till now enjoys superstar status in Tollywood.   Jeevitha was one of the leading heroines in the same era in Tamil and well as Telugu and the after starring together in several movies she fell in love with Rajasekhar and got married.

The untitled film has Gautham Karthik as the lead and Shivathmika plays his pair while  Cheran, Saravanan, Daniel Balaji and Jacqueline play other important characters.  The film is said to be based on ‘Bigg Boss’ but in a village setting.  Shooting is expected to begin in Dindigul in March and a Diwali release is eyed.
