Samantha and Naga Chaitanya to reunite due to female director’s efforts?

The much sought after South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu was married to Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya the son of superstar Nagarjuna from 2017.  Last year just prior to their 4th wedding anniversary the couple announced their split and have since gone their separate ways.

Meanwhile there are reports that filmmaker Nandhini Reddy is making efforts to reunite Sam and Chai on screen for her upcoming film.  It is said that during the making of ‘Oh Baby’ which starred the then couple in 2019 the acclaimed director had narrated another script for them to star together.

However Tollywood media has reported that Nandhini who is very close to Samantha having cast her in her 2013 film ‘Jabardasth’ has no intention of embarassing anyone.  She is said to have decided to retain Naga Chaitanya and is on the look out for the female lead.  We will have all the official confirmations on this news pretty soon.

Samantha’s next release is ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ on April 28th.  The film directed by Vignesh Shivan has music by Anirudh and costars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.
