‘Anniyan’ actress Sadha’s tearful video shocks fans

Actress Sadha is best remembered for her enthusiastic dance to the song ‘Andangakka Kondakkari’ in Shankar’s ‘Anniyan’ in which she played Chiyaan Vikram’s love interest.  The 39 year old beauty has now released a video on Instagram in which she can barely control her tears that has shocked netizens.

Sadha whose real name is Sadaf Mohammed Sayed, was introduced to Tamil cinema with the super hit 2002 film ‘Jayam’ that also marked the debuts of director Mohan Raja and hero Jayam Ravi. She continued to act in several hit films such as ‘Anniyan’ and ‘Unnale Unnale’ and also in films in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and other languages.  She last played the female lead in Vadivelu’s ‘Eli’ in 2015 which was a disaster at the box office.

Since then Sadha has been appearing as a judge on various television reality shows.  In 2019 she started a new restaurant business called  ‘Earthlings Cafe’ in Mumbai that served vegan food.  She announced on social media that she found her true love by personally running the business.

Now in her latest Insta post Sadha tearfully revealed that she has been asked to vacate the premises by the landlord.  “It was a running business. Irrespective of what I’m getting through the cafe, I put my heart and soul into it. I used to work for 12 hours a day and loved it so much that I gave up all my other works. I paid my rentals properly but the landlord still wants me to vacate even though he has other vacant spaces.  If I knew this is going to happen in the future, I wouldn’t have invested such efforts”

Sadha requested her regular customers to visit her restaurant and have their favorite food within this month as it would be closed soon.  Netizens are comforting Sadha and are also asking her not to close the restaurant but shift it to a new location and they will support her.
