Sensational young actress pairs with Suriya in special new movie

Suriya one of the most versatile star actors in South India after delivering the critically acclaimed blockbuster hit ‘Soorarai Pottru’ has completed Mani Ratnam’s anthology ‘Navarasa’ directed by Gautham Menon.  After recovering from a bout of COVID 19 he started shooting ‘Suriya 40’ directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures but due to the second wave of the pandemic, the project has come to a temporary halt.

Apart from these films Suriya is also simultaneously shooting for a new movie directed by Gnanavel of ‘Kootathil Oruvan’ fame.  He is playing an extended cameo as a lawyer fighting for the rights of tribals while actor-writer Manikandan is the main lead.  It is a Suriya’s 2D Entertainment project.

Now the hot news from sources close to the team is that young actress Rajisha Vijayan has boarded the project and is playing the pair of Suriya.  The Mollywood girl made her debut in Tamil opposite Dhanush in the monster hit ‘Karnan’ and is also pairing up with Karthi in the upcoming movie ‘Sardar’ directed by P.S. Mithran.
