44 year old veteran actress planning for second marriage?

News that a popular veteran actress is getting married for the second time at the age of 44 has caused a sensation in the South Indian film industry.   However, the concerned celebrity herself has cleared the air putting a full stop to the rumors.

Actress Prema ruled the Kannada film industry in the nineties as the top heroine who acted with stars such as Vishnuvardhan, Shivarajkumar, Ravichandran and others.  She has also acted with Vikram in the Tamil movie ‘Kangalin Vaarthaigal’, Sathyaraj in ‘Azhageshan’ and the religious film ‘Thaaye Bhuvaeshvari’ apart from Malayalam and Telugu films as well.

Prema fell in love and got married to businessman Jeevan Appachu in the year 2006 and quit films in her peak.  But ten years later she filed for divorce in the Bengaluru High Court and also returned to film acting with ‘Upendra Matte Baa’.

It was reported in the Kannada media that the 44 year old Prema is planning to get married for the second time and that a suitable groom has been selected by her family.  The ‘Om’ and ‘Upendra’ fame actress has dismissed the reports as mere rumors.

Earlier too in 2013 there were rumours that Prema was suffering from a terminal illness which she also denied.  She has told her Sandalwood friends that she is keen on selecting roles that have importance and continuing her acting career.
