27 year old actress attacked by actor’s wife in the middle of the road

A 27 year old actress was attacked in the middle of the road by an actor’s wife that has caused a sensation on the internet.  The actor in question was also traveling with her in a car and the wife took the extreme action suspecting that they were having an affair.

Popular Odia actress Prakruti Mishra has done more than ten films as heroine and has even won a National Award.  She is said to be friendly with her debut movie costar Babushaan Mohanty with the pair starring together in the recent film ‘Premam’ as well.

On the day of the incident Babushaan and Prakruthi were traveling in the former’s white SUV in the Satya Nagar area when Trupti Mohanty intercepted their vehicle.  Arguments broke out and the actor’s wife assaulted the actress even as she called for help from the onlookers.  Prakruti later said that no one helped her but were busy shooting videos of the fracas.  The 27 year old actress’s parents have lodged a complaint at the Bhubaneswar’s Kharavela Nagar police station.

Prakruti in a video has stated “Numerous accusations have been made against me. Why would anyone break anybody’s house if it is already broken? Put a chain around your man’s neck and keep him home if you don’t want to let him go to work. What is the outcome of torturing and bringing fake allegations against another woman, when you cannot keep your husband.”
