The coronavirus pandemic lockdown had brought the film industry to a grinding halt for almost eight months and only recently permission was given for shoots and slowly things have started moving. In the meantime actress Poonam Pandey has courted controversy once again by shooting an obscene video in the famous Chapoli Dam premises in Goa.
The video clip that started doing the rounds on the internet has hurt the sentiments of the devotees of Lord Mallikarjun whose temple is situated nearby. Opposition parties are gunning for the BJP led Goan government accusing them of promoting pornography and questioned how permission was granted to shoot in the holy place.
Police sources have stated “FIR filed against an unknown person at Canacona PS for shooting of vulgar video featuring actress Poonam Pandey. Offence registered under IPC. Also, women’s wing of Goa Forward Party filed a complaint against Pandey for shooting obscene video at Chapoli Dam”
Poonam Pandey was in the news only a few weeks back after her marriage to producer Sam Bombay and filing a police complaint against him of sexual harassment three days later. She then withdrew the complaint and the couple announced that they are back together.
