Actress Nadiya was one of the top heroines of the late 80s - 90s period and had acted in numerous blockbuster movies in Tamil and Malayalam. She was a trendsetter even at those times working on her own terms and starred alongside all the big stars of the time such as Rajinikanth, Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Suresh and Mohan.

In 1988 at the peak of her career Nadhiya got married to Shirish Godbole and bid adieu to th film industry and concentrated on bringing up her two daughters Sanam and Jana. After living in the US and London for many years the talented actress returned to India and settled in Mumbai in 2008.

Nadhiya who is now acting in selected few films is active on social media and shares from time to time her adorable pics of her husband and daughters. Now for the first time she has posted pics with her mother and father who have just given proof from where she inherited her good looks. Nadhiya's father K.N Moidu is a Muslim while her mother Lalitha is a Hindu and both hail from Kerala.
