Actress Nadhiya does this for the first time in 38 years – Viral video

Veteran actress Nadhiya who made her debut in the Malayalam movie ‘Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu’ directed by Fazil and costarring the legendary Padmini won the Best Actress Filmfare Award for her pathbreaking acting.  She also won the same award for the Tamil version of the film ‘Poove Poochudava’ a year later which was also her debut in Kollywood.

Nadhiya is unique in her approach to acting and has never done glamour roles in the entire span of her career.  She also quit her profession at her peak in 1988 tying the knot with Shirish Godbole and the couple have two daughters Sanam and Jana.

Nadhiya stayed away from films for more than a decade after her marriage and then made a comeback with her stardom intact.  Now she is as busy as ever in all South Indian languages taking on powerful character roles.

Nadhiya shared a video of herself dubbing for her new movie and wrote “Excited !!! after dubbing for the first time in Telugu for “Ante Sundaraniki”. A huge thanks to director Vivek Athreya for your confidence, dedication and cooperation and also very thankful to the support team.”  The film has Nani and Nazriya Nazim in the lead and is slated for release on June 10th, 2022.
