Actress Mumtaz is alive – Daughter clarifies through Video

It has become a favorite pastime for rumor mongers to spread hoaxes about the death of famous people without giving a thought to how it would affect the concerned persons and their dear ones.  The recent victim is veteran Bollywood actress Mumtaz as a industry tracker posted on twitter that she has passed away.

Mumtaz’s daughter Tanya Madhvani has released a video on her social media page stating “So exhausting another rumor of my mother’s death. She is healthy and looking beautiful as always and has asked me to let her fans know she is well ! It’s all rubbish.  Mumtaz was a most sought after leading lady in the 60s and 70s making a hot pair with superstars Rajesh Khanna, Shammi Kapoor,  Sashi Kapoor, Rajendra Kumar, and Dharmendra.  She now lives in London and is said to be very active even at the age of 72.
