Has Meena returned to film sets so soon after her husband’s death? – Here is the truth

Evergreen actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away on June 28th at a private hospital in Chennai after a prolonged illness.  He was 48 and is survived by his wife and ten year old daughter Nainika who acted in ‘Theri’ as a child artiste with Vijay.

Friends of Meena have stated on media how devastated the actress is and it will take time for her to recover.  In the meantime photos and videos of Meena on sets were shared on social media by unknown persons claiming that she has returned to her career within a week of her husband’s death.

It has been clarified that the photos and video were shared by Meena on her social media accounts in the month of May and miscreants have used that to spread the misinformation.

On July 2nd Meena had addressed the issue in an emotional post writing “I am deeply saddened by the loss of my loving husband Vidya Sagar. I sincerely request all media to respect our privacy and sympathise this situation. Please stop further broadcast of any false information on this matter. During these difficult times, I want to express my gratitude to all those good hearts who helped and stood with our family. I would like to thank all the Medical Team who tried their best, our Chief Minister, Health Minister, Radhakrishnan IAS, Colleagues, Friends, Family, Media & My loving fans for sending love and prayers. Thank You.”
