Actress Madhu Shalini weds filmmaker Gokul Anand

Actress Madhu Shalini, who was most recently seen as a journalist in the Disney+Hotstar web series ‘9 Hours’, is now a married woman. Today, she wedded Kollywood filmmaker Gokul Anand. 

Madhu and Gokul have acted together in the Tamil movie ‘Pancharaaksharam’. “Thank you for all the love we’ve received. We look forward to the new chapter of our lives with hope and gratitude in our hearts,” the actress wrote, taking to Twitter. 

It was in 2015 that Madhu was seen famously in the Kamal Haasan-starrer ‘Cheekati Rajyam’. Her liplock with the Universal Star was a talk of Tinseltown at that time. She had played a reporter in Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh’s ‘Gopala Gopala’ in the same year. Madhu has also acted in the web series ‘Expiry Date’ and in Adivi Sesh’s ‘Goodachari’, among other projects, in recent years.
