Shankar the grandest showman of Indian cinema has been facing a tough time completing his ambitions ‘Indian 2’ which has been marred by roadblocks including a makeup glitch, a fatal on-set accident, the Covid 19 pandemic and also the hero Kamal’s political commitments.
It has already been officially announced that Shankar will be helming Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja’s 15th film which is also the 50th for producer Dil Raju and is planned on a mega-budget. The master director has also signed a new Bollywood project starring young superstar Ranveer Singh which some say is a sequel to Shankar’s ‘Anniyan’ that had Vikram playing an MPD patient.
The buzz is that Bollywood heroine Kiara Advani has reportedly been cast as the leading lady of both the Ram Charan and Ranveer Singh film by Shankar. We of course have to wait for official confirmation of the same.
