Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin has made a big name for herself through her extraordinary choice of roles and impeccable acting. Most of her films 'Dev D', 'The Girl in Yellow Boots', 'Margarita With A Straw', 'Kaash' and 'Gully Boy' have been critically acclaimed.

Though Kalki is French she has grown up in Kalhatty near Ooty in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu and considers herself a Tamilian. She began a romantic relationship with Guy Hershberg in 2018 and the couple's first child Sappho was born on 7th February 2020.

Kalki Koechlin's latest video shows her singing a Tamil lullaby that goes "Kannurangu Ponmani" and has captioned it "Adapted from the original to accommodate my lack of musical experience but this Tamil lullaby is a great one to get her in sleep mode"

Kalki Kanmani as she likes to be called has a long time dream of acting in Tamil and though she appeared in a song in Thala Ajith's 'Nerkonda Paarvai' her full fledged role is in Prabhu Solomon's upcoming film 'Kaadan' starring Rana Daggubatti and Vishnu Vishal. She is also playing one of the female leads in an anthology Tamil series for Netflix directed by Vignesh Shivan in which Anjali is her costar. That means we will be getting to hear a lot of our own Kalki Kanmani in the coming months.
