We call ourselves civilized citizens of the world and the scientific and economic advancement in the past 100 years surpass everything before that. But the sad truth is that women and children are still being treated like how they were and even worse than the barbaric age.

Actress Jessie Cave who played Ron Weasley's girlfriend and later ex in the last three installments of the 'Harry Potter' movies has made the shocking revelation that she was raped by her tennis coach when she was just 14.

Jessie Cave and her sister and fellow actress Bebe Cave have started their podcast “We Can’t Talk About That Right Now,” and on the first episode, the following conversation happened between the siblings.

Bebe Cave had an argument as to who had a tough childhood to which Jessie replied "I mean, come on, I was raped. I get the trump card, To be fair, acne and braces are bad but I think rape at 14 is pretty bad, by your tennis coach ... who you trusted, [in] a position of power. I was fit and I was very able with a tennis ball. but I was still taken advantage of and he was sent to jail. So it’s fine"

Jessie who is currently doing a number of films and comedy shows added "In retrospect, I was still recovering and my sexual journey was a completely abnormal road to yours,” And I think that ... there are still consequences from that period of time that I’m only realizing 18 years later. I think that’s something that people don’t talk about enough with sexual abuse and trauma, Like, there are some people that are OK after. There are some people that do use it and find a way of living with it. ... I’m definitely not defined by it.”

Jessie Cave is now in a long term relationship with fellow comedian Alfie Brown and has also let out that she is pregnant with their third child together. The couple already have a son and a daughter.
