Music composer turned leading man Vijay Antony has carved a niche for himself as one of the most bankable stars in Kollywood. After the success of his ‘Pichaikkaaran’ also dubbed as ‘ Bichagadu’ in Telugu his market has soared in both states and he is currently doing a number of films that include ‘Khakhi’, ‘Kodiyil Oruvan’, ‘Agni Siragugal’ and ‘Pichaikkaran 2’.
Vijay Antony is committed to doing a film next to be directed by Vijay Milton which will go on floors in August. It is said that the team has approached Hansika Motwani to play the female lead and the Mumbai beauty has reportedly given her nod after being impressed by the script and her character.
Hansika’s female-centric movie ‘Maha’ is slated for release soon in which she is costarring Simbu. She is also in talks for ‘D44’ starring Dhanush and produced by Sun Pictures. Her new combo with Vijay Antony lends variety to her choice of roles in her second innings.
