Famous 70s and 80s glamour actress Deepa’s photos with grandchild and family go viral

Veteran actress Deepa who made her debut in 1975 with the Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Antharangam’ went on to act in hundreds of films in all South Indian languages.  She has starred opposite Sivakumar in ‘Rosaapoo Ravikaikari’, Rajinikanth in ‘Johnny’ and ‘Ullasa Paravaigal’ with Kamal Haasan.  She usually portrayed glamorous and vamp roles.

In later years her most memorable role was in K. Bhagyaraj’s cult classic ‘Munthanai Mudichu’ in which though her role was that of glamorous teacher it also had emotional connect.

Deepa whose real name is Unni Mary got married to college professor Rejoy in 1982.  The couple have a son Nirmal who is married to Ranjini and they have a son Rihan.  The latest pics of Deepa chilling with her grandson, husband and family have gone viral on the internet.  Fans are hitting the like button in thousands and commenting that the veteran actress is enjoying her family life away from the limelight having quit cinema in 1992.
