Celebrity life from the outside may seem to be filled with luxury and happiness but in reality, many suffer more than what the common people go through.  Yesteryear heroine Charmila has acted in many movies in Malayalam and Tamil opposite top stars such as Mohan Lal and Prasanth.   The 45-year-old Chennai born actress is now reportedly admitted at the Kilpauk government hospital in Chennai suffering from an orthopedic condition.  It is said that she is without any money and there was no one to help or assist her and other patients and their attendants are doing what they can.

During the nineties Charmila after acting in several films with Malayalam actor Babu Antony fell in love with him but they broke off.  She then married one Rajesh in 2006 and divorced in 2014.  Her second marriage to actor Kishore Satya also did not last long and ended in divorce.  

In 2018 Charmila made a request to producers to give her acting chances as she was unable to support her aged mother and ten year old son.  She then acted in films like 'Ivan Vera Maathiri' and 'Genius' and the Nadigar Sangam Vishal too extended a helping hand.
